We loved that the sofa made into a bed for a comfortable place to watch tv and relax. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. I would have appreciated knowing the coffee pot type ahead of our trip. Light bulbs out in master bath. All in all very nice.

Our only complaint is the HVAC unit is very loud when running. Management company is very thorough with there check in process which us feel comfortable. Definitely would come back to this location for a stay.

Amazing & Perfect Vacation Spot

The whole process is extremely easy and stress free, the area of Carnelian Bay is absolutely amazing, great places to eat, grocery stores within 5 mins and no casinos which was refreshing. This place is perfect.

Very Comfortable Unit

Be sure to check the number of amenity keys and parking passes. I was charged for a missing amenity key. There was only one in the basket when I arrived and I NEVER even took that out to use it. I was traveling alone, so no one else could have removed it. Fortunately, and a bit of back and forth, First Accommodations refunded the $50 charge for the missing key. Good customer service. I will book with them again, but will take inventory on my arrival and report any discrepencies.

The property was very clean (the cleanest vacation rental I’ve stayed in) and well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised that there was cable TV and plenty of hot water. The property was a short dive to the beach and ski resorts. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

I woke each morning to a beautiful sunrise with tons of activity from blue jays and chipmunks. The location was great and the community itself was very safe, comfortable and private. I would absolutely stay here again!

Wish we had more time to enjoy the property fully. Complex offers hiking trails, par course, pool, 2 hot tubs, ping pong, pool table, sand volley ball and horse shoes. Too much for 2 night trip. Kitchen was a bit small but fully stocked. We will be back.

The location was excellent away from traffic noise with filtered views down to the lake. The resort pool is amazing. The public beach was beautiful. This was an excellent time of the year to go with no crowds and warm enough to enjoy some sun and gorgeous scenery. Everything in the unit worked. The property management representative was helpful and patient explaining how to get the Television to work. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

The week before we found out it was very smoky and we cancelled due to asthma. At the last minute the smoke cleared so we decided to come after all. 3/4 nights were rebooked but we reclaimed the last night. Throughout the back and forth, the company was professional and patient and never got upset with my questions and concerns. The place itself is beautiful, very modern, and would be nice for any season. We took advantage of the hot tub and table tennis at the lodge as well. We would definately stay here again.

Great stay at the Honeymooner!

Everything is updated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is super comfortable. We would definitely return to this condo and, in fact, intend to do so!

Very clean, cozy, had everything you could need. Extra blankets, pillows, most anything you would need. We felt very comfortable there. Would definitely love to book again in this area. We liked the location being close to restraunts and close to the lake. The condo was in a very clean state when we arrived. The staff were helpful as well.

When you’re ready to venture outside, you’ll love this perfect vacation setting. The Recreation Center / Lodge features a swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, locker room saunas, billiards, tennis and bocce courts, and a fitness trail. The complex backs up to Tahoe National Forest, offering miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and other activities year-round.
The Honeymooner is in Carnelian Bay, where all North Lake Tahoe is right at your doorstep! Stroll down to Magic Carpet mini golf or check out Waterman’s Landing, located at Patton Landing Beach, a 3-acre, pebbly beach known for stand-up paddling.
To experience Lake Tahoe gambling and nightlife, Incline Village and Nevada's historic casino Crystal Bay are a short drive away, just across the state line.
Closer to home, you'll find superb dining options right in town like Gar Woods Grill and Pier for steaks and fish, the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for hearty breakfasts, and CB's Pizza for hand-tossed pies and beer.
You're only 10-12 miles from three great ski resorts—Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. Whether you prefer to downhill or cross-country ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or go sledding or ice skating, North Tahoe is the place for winter fun.
At Squaw Valley, after conquering the slopes, go tubing with the kids or try out the mini snowmobiles at SnoVentures Activity Zone. There are dogsledding tours too!
In every season, the Village at Squaw Valley offers dining, shopping, the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram, and a variety of activities.
In the summer, ride the Aerial Tram to High Camp then choose a scenic trail and walk or hike in one of the most breathtaking places in the world! At 8,200 feet elevation, admire the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with views of Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley's legendary granite peaks. In the Aerial Tram building lobby, kids and grownups can have a blast climbing the variety of routes on the 30’ simulated Headwall Climbing Wall. If you dare, learn how to do a front or back somersault at Skyjump; all ages are welcome.
