Esperanzas Lakeside Retreat [1]
Nice place. Lots of stairs.
Reviewed on 2024-11-11 by , Napa, CA United StatesThis is a really nice condo right in the heart of Tahoma on the main drag. Was nice for our family of four with two dogs, and would be fine for two families with pets and twice as many kids as well. Clean, modernized 70's condo with modern appliances and comfortable furniture and bedding. There are a lot of stairs here, as it is on three levels, which was not a problem for us. There is another layer of property management that required some of additional paperwork and communication, as well as some rules, etc, that are not on the listing. Some more veteran VRBO renters may be used to this.
Family Time
Reviewed on 2024-07-15 by , Carson City, NV United StatesThe place was perfect for our family get together. Wonderful atmosphere, great views, & awesome lake access. The only problem is that the place was extremely hot. We had to bring fans from home & leave all windows open in order to make it comfortable.
The best place!

Tahoma Family Getaway
Reviewed on 2022-04-13 by Allison T. , Lafayette, CA United Statesand heaters in each bedroom. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook any meal and enough seating for 6 people at the table. Being a family of 5, we wished there was a backyard however a short walk takes you to a rocky beach and a grass area behind the units. One big problem
was the neighbor in unit 15. He seemed nice however he stays up very late and bangs on the wall in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed. It was so bad that we could not use the room at all for sleeping. It felt deliberate and it was very frustrating. He is a permanent resident and we did not want to confront him so we just didn’t use that room. The location is nice for skiing at Homewood or walking around SugarPine. This was our first time staying in Tahoma and it was a little too quiet for us. If we ever came back to Tahoma it would be during the summer because in the Winter/Spring the outdoor seating is not available at local restaurants and no where is pet friendly!
